100

WOOT! IT'S SFC's 100th POST!

It is shocking to me that I have managed to find some bullshit to talk about 100 times. Even more shocking is that there are people who continue to read it. And a lot of you aren't even related to me! To celebrate this ginormous milestone, I am going to have a FABULOUS PRIZE GIVEAWAY!

(cue the dancing girls and farting elephants!)

Here's what you have to do to enter - just post a comment telling me either a) your favorite SFC post to date or b) a topic you'd like to see me write about. Please make sure to include your e-mail so I can get in touch with you. And while this isn't required for entry, do me a solid and tell your friends to come over, read and comment. I will pick a winner on Monday, June 6.

Here's what you win - SOMETHING FABULOUS. I can only promise that it will be awesome and cheap, much like me.

Thank you for reading and following and encouraging me to talk about my fascinating life of poopy diapers, granny panties and pit sweat. I love you guys, in a fake internet way that carries no real emotion. XXXOOO

  1. I love all your blog posts, but one of the more memorable ones for me was Mother's Day, and the fabulous picture that is now your banner - I nearly peed myself reading it. I like that I can see the picture whenever I come to read, because I still laugh. lol

  18. Yay, Kelly! I have loved reading your posts, thank you for the entertainment while I lie down next to Micah every night. I usually get the laugh I need to help end the day and the reassurance that I'm not the only one! My favorite funny one is of course the Xanax one, but the your so vain one is up there too as a fav. And the just another day one made me cry in a good way. Thanks for the reads!

  19. Congratulations on your 100th post from your biggest fan (not in a creepy "Misery" kind of way). You are the funniest woman I know and the dearest one to my heart....And I didn't say that just to win the awesome and cheap prize.....But if you don't write a book before I get too old to read it I'm really gonna be pissed....love, Mom

  20. Kelly,
I love your blog, but my absolute fave has to be when you wrote about "smelling" your Dad when getting Henry out of the car. It made me cry for obvious reasons, but also because I am so envious that you can take words and craft them into a beautiful story. I, being more of a math/science girl, would have posted "I thought of my Dad today".....thus the reason I don't blog!

On second thought, I am now second guessing myself and wonder if I should choose the peeing on the phone for the obvious reason of having lived through it!!!

    Congrats,
    Kim

So I guess that's my answer to question B. More Fiction Fridays. Even just once a month. Pretty please! (You probably hate me right now, don't you??? :P)

P.S. Congratulations on your 100th post!!! Here's to the next 100! *clinks imaginary wine glasses*

  22. So I waited too long to be original...but I have to say the doggie xanax story is totally freaking hilarious!!!!! Another thing that I really appreciate about your blog is how you are able to take a situation and use words to make it come alive for me and it makes me feel close to you even though we are so far apart. Love your dearly my friend!

  23. My fav. has to be the Greatest Show on Earth....I can so relate to having to multi-task while on the toilet..hahah! Love your blogs , and I can't wait to read the next hundred posts! By the way, I know how talented and smart you are and you don't need a degree for that to show through so fear nothing and reach for your dreams! Maybe you will take this blog on the road as a one woman comedy show! Keep on writing!
